Laurence has been a paralegal since 2016 and is a member of the Litigation group with the Sherbrooke office.

In the course of her duties, Laurence helps lawyers prepare and draft legal proceedings, analyze files and manage undertakings. 

Laurence prepares registration applications and registers rights subject to publication, such as legal hypothecs or prior notice of the exercise of a hypothecary right. She also conducts various searches in the various registers, including the Land Register and the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights.

Before joining the Lavery team, Laurence spent one year working at another firm as a paralegal in civil litigation, more specifically banking law, during which time she developed expertise in judicial sales and the enforcement of judgments.
