Anne Bélanger has a law degree from Université Laval. Ms. Bélanger joined Lavery as a member of the firm's Litigation Group in 1999.

Over the years, she has, on behalf of insurers, represented many professionals, such as real-estate agents and brokers, land surveyors, lawyers, accountants, chartered appraisers and building inspectors, in the context of civil litigation. She has also acted in numerous medical liability matters, representing chiropractors, denturists, optometrists and psychologists, as well as hospital centres.

Ms. Bélanger has also represented clients before the courts on numerous occasions in damage insurance cases.

• Member of the Executive Committee of the National Health Section of the Canadian Bar Association (2009 - ...)
• Member of the Executive Committee of the Insurance and Civil Litigation Section of the Canadian Bar Association (2006 - 2010)
• Served on the Board of Directors of the Montreal Association of Insurance Women and headed its Legislation Committee (1994 to 1997)
• Member of the Bar of Montreal Liaison Committee with the Court of Quebec, Civil Division (1993-1994)
• Member of the Board of Directors of the Young Bar Association of Montreal (1991-1992)
