Anne-Marie Lévesque practices in the fields of civil litigation and insurance law. She specializes in class actions, life and disability insurance, the distribution of financial products and services, directors’ and officers’ liability, product liability and professional liability.

In her class actions practice, Ms. Lévesque has defended several businesses in cases involving various issues relating to competition, consumer protection, the environment, directors’ and officers’ liability, extra-contractual liability and product liability.

She frequently appears before the courts to represent clients and assists them as well during mediation sessions.

On several occasions, Ms. Lévesque has been a speaker on class actions, life and disability insurance and civil liability.

In addition to practising law, Ms. Lévesque serves on the board of directors of a non-profit organization.

When she was studying law, she won the Jean Martineau Cup at the Pierre-Basile-Mignault national pleading competition for students of civil law.
