Élisabeth Pinard is the coordinator of the firm's Family Law, Personal Law and Estate Law Group. She has worked in this area of the law since she began her law career in 1980, and now specializes in child custody matters, private international law and estate litigation. She is also a certified mediator.

Ms. Pinard is frequently a guest speaker for various organizations, including the National Judicial Institute, the Continuing Education Department of the Quebec Bar, the Chambre des Notaires, and the Canadian Bar Association.

She has written numerous articles, both alone and in co-authorship, on various family law issues. She also assists in updating the research publication Droit de la famille québécois (CCH/FM Ltée), and co-authored the work entitled Législation sur le patrimoine familial annotée (4th edition, Carswell Publications, October 2003).

She was previously a lecturer for the Continuing Education Program of the Quebec Bar, given at Laval University.

Mrs. Pinard is recognized in the 2012 directory The Best Lawyers in Canada in the field of Family Law.

Representative work
Ms. Pinard frequently appears before the Superior Court and the Quebec Court of Appeal in divorce and legal separation cases and in proceedings to vary corollary relief with respect to child custody, support and lump-sum settlements. She also handles estate litigation matters.
