BIOGRAPHY

Paralegal
Ghyslain Roy has been a paralegal with Lavery since 2002.
 
In the course of his work, he attends the offices of the courts on behalf of the firm and deals with the land registry offices and the offices of the Enterprise Registrar.
 
He also provides reference services in the library and assists the lawyers with their legal research.
 
He participated in the preparation of the 4th edition of the book entitled Législation sur le patrimoine familial annotée (Annotated legislation on the family patrimony).
 
Mr. Roy performs searches in the Land Registry Office, in the Personal and Movable Real Rights Registry Office, and in other government records offices. He also drafts certain documents for publication in various registers.
 
In addition, he is responsible for providing training on research tools to the firm’s articling students and other students.
