With more than 35 years of experience in labour relations, Jean Beauregard has worked on all aspects of this practice area.
A seasoned negotiator, Mr. Beauregard represents both small-sized and large-sized businesses before the administrative courts and common law courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
He regularly pleads before decision-making bodies, such as the Commission des relations du travail, grievance adjudicators and the Commission des lésions professionnelles.
Mr. Beauregard is one of the rare professionals in labour relations in Quebec to have the expertise and experience in matters pertaining to both labour relations (grievances, harassment claims, wrongful dismissal, etc) and appeals pertaining to the application of the An Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases.
In addition, he is renowned for his expertise in the application in An Act respecting Labour relations, vocational training and workforce management in the construction industry.
Mr. Beauregard has taught occupational health and safety at the École Polytechnique of the Université de Montréal for a number of years and is co-author of Le Guide du gestionnaire des accidents du travail et des maladies professionnelles (Éditions Wilson et Lafleur, 1985).
