Pierre-L. Baribeau acts as a strategic counsel to senior executives and boards of directors of both private and public corporations and organizations in Quebec and the other provinces. His practice includes providing legal advice on human resources management and negotiates collective agreements.

 

Mr. Baribeau has authored many articles on labour law and health law. He co-authored the Guide des gestionnaires des accidents du travail [Industrial Accidents Management Guide].

 

Mr. Baribeau has been a guest lecturer for provincial and national organizations, the Société des médecins experts du Québec, the Association des médecins en milieu de travail, the Quebec Bar, The Canadian Institute, Insight, the Association des hôpitaux du Québec and the Chambre de commerce du Québec.

 

The LEXPERT®/ American Lawyer Media Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada has been listing Mr. Baribeau's name since it began conducting its surveys. He was selected again in 2006 as among the experts in Canada and Quebec in the fields of employment law and labour law He is also listed in The Canadian Legal LEXPERT® Directory 2011 in the fields of Employment Law and Labour Relations.

 

Mr. Baribeau is also listed in the 2012 edition of Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading practitioner in the field of Labour and Employment Law.
