Sylvie Parent has been a paralegal specializing in labour and employment law at Lavery since 1999. Before joining our team, she worked for five years as a paralegal in a labour law firm that represents unions. Over the years, she has also acquired skills in the field of real estate law.

 

Her main duty consists of assisting lawyers in the preparation of hearings and conferences by carrying out legal research.

 

Ms. Parent has also created a report, which she updates monthly, that summarizes the activities of the lawyers in the labour and employment group. She also prepares summaries of recent legislative developments in labour law.

 

In addition, she handles the training of articling students in the use of computer tools pertaining to labour law.
