LAVERY REPRESENTS INDUSTRIAL ALLIANCE IN A $200 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF COMMON SHARES

On September 15, 2011, Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. closed a private placement of 6,000,000 Common Shares for gross proceeds of approximately $200 million.
The Common Shares were sold to Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
Industrial Alliance was represented by a team from Lavery consisting of Marc Rochefort, Michel Servant and Geneviève Fournier (corporate and securities), and Philip Nolan (tax).
