Arielle Reeves-Breton joined the Lavery team in 2018 as a student and will complete her articles with the firm in 2019. She received her law degree at the Université de Sherbrooke Faculty of Law in 2018.
During her LL.B. studies, Arielle completed a placement at the Quebec Court of Appeal, District of Montréal. She also participated in the 2018 Bora Laskin national competition in constitutional and administrative law, where she ranked as the 11th best oralist in the competition. Before that, she did research in administrative law as a research assistant to Professor Geneviève Cartier. Arielle also participated in a civil law moot court trial.
Before beginning her legal studies, Arielle completed a college diploma in nursing, for which she was awarded a scholarship for the best final overall average in her program. Her nursing education was the incentive for her to found the Health Law Committee at the Université de Sherbrooke, which she chaired for two years. She also had the opportunity to work at the Faculty of Law at the Université de Sherbrooke by participating in open house days as an ambassador.
