Marc-Étienne Lauzon-Joset is a member of the Business Law Group and focuses his practice on commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and real estate law.
He has worked on many corporate litigation matters and advised senior management teams on various agreements and other documents as part of mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations as well as numerous business contracts.
He has developed expertise in real estate negotiations as a lawyer for a pharmacy chain and one of the largest real estate investment funds in Canada.
- Representation of Apax Partners LLP, an international private equity firm, in the acquisition of an equity interest in Pharmalab Inc. and Laboratoires C.O.P. Inc., doing business in the health industry under the name Ideal Protein in particular. The mandate required the involvement of Jefferies LLC, PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance LLC and Duane Morris LLP in the United States.
