Mr. Vidrascu’s practice focuses on complex, strategic commercial and construction litigation both in court and in private arbitration.
In the area of commercial litigation, Mr. Vidrascu regularly handles disputes involving the interpretation and performance of commercial agreements, unfair competition, and shareholders’ rights.
In the area of construction law, he has been involved in litigation regarding major claims related to complex construction projects such as the building of dams, factories, and hospitals.
Mr. Vidrascu served as a consultant to the government of Romania in the reform of the Civil Code of Romania.
Since 2005, Mr. Vidrascu has taught contract law at the École du Barreau.
During his bachelor of laws at Université de Montréal, he was named on the Dean’s Excellence List for all three years and earned two awards of excellence, one in insurance law and the other in comparative law.
Publications and speaking engagements
- Mr. Vidrascu has published an article on the legal nature of the extinctive prescription and another on the unjust enrichment. He has been a speaker many times in Canada and elsewhere on issues relating to civil, commercial, arbitration, and construction law.
