  2. Lavery announces return of Carole Gélinas as partner

    Lavery is pleased to announce the return of Carole Gélinas as a partner. Carole, who practiced law at Lavery from 2012 to 2019 on the real estate team, is returning to her roots. She has more than 30 years of experience in this field and is known for assisting corporations with mandates relating to the leasing, acquisition, sale and financing of real estate assets. She also has extensive experience in mining law. “I am delighted to be back with the Lavery family.   8. Lavery acted on behalf of Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd in connection with a bought deal offering

    A team of lawyers comprised of Josianne Beaudry and Isabelle Richard acted on behalf of Osisko Gold Royalties Ltdin connection with a bought deal offering of 11,431,000 units for gross proceeds of approximately $173 million. The units issued under the offering were offered by way of a short form prospectus filed in all provinces of Canada. The financing closed at the end of February 2016. The units were sold through a syndicate of underwriters co-led by BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets and included National Bank Financial Inc., Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., CIBC World Markets, Haywood Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., Cormark Securities Inc., Dundee Securities Ltd. and Paradigm Capital Inc.
