Ms. Marie-Claude Cantin, a Litigation partner at Lavery, and Mr. Louis-Martin Dubé, a Business Law partner at Lavery, wrote an article entitled “New by-law regarding building safety: Imposes onerous obligations on owners” that was published in the last issue of Espace Montréal magazine, a quarterly publication.
The article focuses on the Regulation’s new provisions with respect to façades and multistorey garages, which came into force on March 18, 2013. The two authors discuss the various obligations on owners created by these provisions.
