Elissa joined the Lavery team as a student in the summer of 2024, and has been articling with the firm since January 2026.

She obtained her bachelor's degree in law at the University of Montreal in April 2024 and also had the chance to study at Aix-Marseille University in 2023. She completed the first two blocks of the Bar School program in the spring of 2025.

 During her studies, Elissa had the opportunity to get involved within her faculty, notably through her role as vice-president of competitions for the Criminal Law Committee, where she organized two editions of a simulated criminal trial and a competition on corporate governance and white-collar crimes.
