He successfully completed his law degree in 2024, and that same year was named to the honour roll of the Faculty of Law at Université Laval.

During his university studies, Mathis completed a semester abroad at the University of Montpellier. He also volunteered with Justice Pro Bono and served as undergraduate representative on the student committee of Université Laval’s Centre d’études en droit économique (CÉDÉ).

He is currently completing his internship at the firm, for the École du Barreau.
