Iulia Bostinaru is a member of our Business Law group, focusing her practice on mergers and acquisitions, and commercial litigation.

She joined the Lavery team in the winter of 2023 and completed her articling period there in 2024. Ms. Bostinaru holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Throughout her undergraduate studies, Ms. Bostinaru combined academics with practical experience in the legal field. In her third year, she completed a clinical placement with the bench of the Court of Québec. Ms. Bostinaru also expanded her knowledge of business law during her internship in the legal department of a large cross-border company. In addition, she earned academic distinction by being named to the Dean’s List from 2020 to 2023 and receiving the Wilson & Lafleur Award for the excellence of her results.

Throughout her academic journey, Ms. Bostinaru has been actively involved in her community, particularly with the Montréal SPCA. She has also volunteered at the Côte-des-Neiges Community Recreation Centre, organizing the welcome program French classes for newcomers. This earned her the Brébeuf Distinction for her involvement in academics, community service and extracurricular activities.
