Guy Lavoie was elected as the representative from Quebec on the board of directors of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE) at its 6th annual conference held in Chicago, Illinois from September 10 to 12, 2009. This appointment will enable him to play a direct role in promoting CACE in Quebec. He will sit on the board for a two-year term.
Guy Lavoie has broad expertise and experience in labour and employment law and occupational health and safety matters. He advises and represents the firm’s clients before various administrative tribunals in both collective and individual employment relations matters, and in occupational health and safety and discrimination and harassment cases. He also works in conjunction with members of the firm’s Business Law Group on labour and employment law issues connected with the implementation of mergers and acquisitions.
