Élizabeth Martin-Chartrand joined Lavery as a student in 2017 and will article with the firm in 2019. She obtained her civil law degree at the University of Ottawa in the cooperative program, during which she completed three cooperative internship terms at the firm. She also studied at the Université Libre de Bruxelles during the fall of 2017 as part of an international student exchange program.
While a law student, Élizabeth served on the executive committees of the University of Ottawa’s Canadian Student Association for Children’s Rights and the Criminal Law Association, and as columnist for the student newspaper.
