Élizabeth Martin-Chartrand, associate in the litigation group, joined Lavery in 2016. she completed three cooperative internship terms at the firm and her articling. She obtained her civil law degree at the University of Ottawa in the cooperative program. She also studied at the Université Libre de Bruxelles during the fall of 2017.
Élizabeth focuses her practice mainly in the areas of the Health law, professional liability, insurance law and she is also involved in collective action files.
While a law student, Élizabeth served on the executive committees of the University of Ottawa’s Canadian Student Association for Children’s Rights and the Criminal Law Association, and as columnist for the student newspaper.
