In this role, she plays a strategic part in developing and implementing the firm’s vision for talent management. She leads all initiatives aimed at attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining legal professionals, thereby contributing directly to the firm’s growth, performance, and sustainability.

She oversees key programs and processes related to professional development, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, next generation, and talent retention. Recognized for her expertise in strategic recruitment and executive search within the legal sector, she leads lateral recruitment efforts and serves as a trusted business partner to partners and practice leaders to meet the firm’s business needs.

In addition to her talent management responsibilities, Anaïs also supports the CEO and the Executive Committee in carrying out strategic projects that advance the firm’s priorities for growth, transformation, and excellence.

Before joining Lavery, Anaïs practiced as a mergers and acquisitions attorney at a major Montreal law firm and then pursued a career in executive recruitment and headhunting specializing in the legal field. This unique background gives her a deep understanding of the realities of private practice, the business challenges faced by law firms, and the strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Active in the business community, Anaïs has served on the board of directors of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal since 2023, where she chairs the Human Resources Committee.
