Sophie Labrecque is a member of the firm’s Business Law Group whose practice is focused primarily in the areas of transactional law and mergers and acquisitions. She further advises clients in commercial matters, including the negotiation of distribution, supply and production agreements.
Sophie is also a member of our Intellectual Property Group and provides strategic and practical advice in various aspects of IP law, mainly in the field of trademarks. She advises clients in trademark clearance searches, filing strategies and opposition proceedings in Canada. She is frequently involved in corporate transactions and due diligence matters involving IP assets.
Sophie has a keen interest in corporate governance and corporate social responsibility and is a contributor of the Réseau Jeunes Entrepreneurs of the Young Chamber of Commerce of Montreal.
