Marie-Josée is a member of the Business Law Group whose practice is focused on real estate law. She frequently advises her clients on the drafting of purchase and sale contracts, with financing.
She also acts as a legal advisor to government agencies for mandates relating to the public services networks, particularly in transactions for the acquisition or disposition of real estate, the drafting of deeds of servitude and title searches.
Since 2006, Marie-Josée has been a lecturer at the faculty of law of the Université de Montréal in the master of notarial law program (covering real estate transfer duties, the dismemberments and modalities of the right of ownership, and advanced property law), and has participated in the course laboratories on title searching and the publication of rights since 2014.
She was also an instructor, from 2006 to 2018, with the Chambre des Notaires du Québec, in the development of the profession department, for the training activity on the practitioner's duty to advise where faced with a controversy in the doctrine and case law.
