Janet Dell’Orto is a trademark agent in Lavery’s Intellectual Property group. Before joining Lavery, Janet worked for over 21 years as a trademark agent at another Montreal law firm, during which time she led their Intellectual Property department for over 10 years.
She focuses her practice on management and protection of trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs. Throughout her career, she has always worked closely with her clients, guiding them from the search for marks to their registration, both nationally and internationally, and counseling them in cases of opposition and summary expungement. Janet is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the International Trademark Association.
