Guy Lavoie has know-how and sound experience in labour law and occupational health and safety. He advises the firm’s clients and represents them before various administrative and civil courts in matters involving collective and individual labour relations, occupational health and safety, discrimination and harassment. He also works on the labour and employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions in collaboration with the firm’s Business Law Group.

A journalist before embarking on his career in law, Mr. Lavoie also took part in the creation of a company dedicated to transporting people with restricted mobility and the establishment of a work centre suited to handicapped adults. He puts his experience in journalism and business to good use by suggesting practical approaches to problem solving.

Mr. Lavoie is regularly invited to speak at conferences on various subjects.
