Michaëlle Guilbault


Articling Student

Michaëlle Guilbault joined the Lavery team as a law student in 2016, as part of the of the Course aux stages process and is now working as an articling student. She completed her Bachelor of Civil Law at Université de Montréal in 2017 and then went on to complete her professional development program at the École du Barreau du Québec in January of 2018. She also holds a collegiate studies degree in Humanities, with a concentration in Law, from Collège Laflèche, where she distinguished herself through her extracurricular participation in political debates. 

Since 2015, Michaëlle has immersed herself in the business world by sitting on the board directors of a renowned financial co-operative as a young intern officer. She was also actively involved within her university’s faculty as acting Vice President of Networking Activities in the Business and Management Law Committee. As part of her responsibilities, she planned and organized a conference showcasing Lavery’s professional expertise in Business Law to students of the faculty.

Representative mandates

As a student, Michaëlle is required to contribute to cases in various practice areas of the firm, whether by completing legal research mandates or by taking part in certain aspects of drafting of legal procedures and contracts, or due diligence. She is also involved in developing materials used by the firm's professionals to give lectures or to write articles published by Lavery's lawyers.
