Michaëlle Guilbault is a lawyer with the Business Law Group whose practice is focused on real estate law.
In her practice, Michaëlle frequently acts in files involving the preparation and negotiation of contracts for the purchase and sale of real estate properties for commercial, industrial or multi-residential use, representing either the purchaser or the vendor.
She is regularly solicited for the drafting and revision of offers to lease and commercial leases for the firm's clients, and assists them in the stages following the signature of the lease, both by advising them on the interpretation and application of the lease provisions, and preparing lease amendment or renewal agreements, as required from time to time.
Michaëlle also acts in real estate financing files, files dealing with major infrastructure projects, as well as real estate development projects.
In addition, in collaboration with other Lavery professionals, she assists clients with their occasional need for expertise in lobbying law, a complementary practice to her specialization in real estate law.
While Michaëlle primarily represents the firm's clients from the region of Montreal, she also occasionally acts for clients located in Trois-Rivières, her home town.
