Katherine Ammerlaan is a member of the Litigation and Conflict Resolution Group, more specifically with the family, personal and estate law team.
Before studying law, Katherine obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Linguistics from McGill University, and also taught English in Thailand.
While a law student, she volunteered at the Juripop legal clinic, participated in the Sopinka Cup trial advocacy competition in criminal law, and worked as a research intern at the Centre québécois du droit de l’environnement (CQDE). She received a number of awards for excellence and civic engagement during her studies.
