Marianne joined Lavery as a student-at-law in 2020 and will complete her articling internship in 2021.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Law and a Juris Doctor in Common Law from Université de Montréal. During her studies, she participated in several simulations and competitions in business law and was a teaching assistant in obligations, evidence and civil procedure.
Prior to entering law school, she graduated with distinction from Concordia University with a BFA in Art history and has been awarded several scholarships for her academic excellence and social involvement.
She also had the opportunity to gain professional experience in the Business Law group of an international law firm and as an advisor in a major financial institution.
